John M Wyson
John is the principal and founder of Wyson & Company, Inc. After graduating from Brigham Young University with both Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy degrees in 1993, he began working for Deloitte in Southern California. John spent 12 years in the tax practice of Deloitte, including 2 years in their highly-respected National Tax Office in Washington, DC. He then spent 4 years as a partner with an Orange County accounting firm prior to founding Wyson & Company.
John has an extensive background in business and individual taxation, working with companies spanning a wide range of sizes and industries, and individuals with varied tax complexity. His specializations include C-Corporations, S-Corporations, tax provisions, tax examination representation, transaction structuring, and tax-efficiency planning for high net worth individuals. Industries currently served include high-tech, manufacturing, restaurant, pharmaceutical, insurance, international import/export, retail, and private equity investors.
John is an Eagle Scout. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. John has lived in Canada and Brazil, he speaks fluent Portuguese, and lives in Newport Coast with his wife and daughters.
